Each year we still hike out in the snow-covered forest of trees where way too much time is spent finding "just the right one". The tradition of actually sawing down the tree got passed down to me about 10 years ago when my dad just couldn't do it anymore, and even though every year I swear more than I should in front of my daughter while I'm lying on the ground getting wet and cold, using all my energy to cut down a tree with a not-so-sharp saw, I still wouldn't trade it for the world. I hope our tree looks as beautiful as yours does.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5881322036952884343.post-47801359255502371952008-12-07T00:25:00.000-05:002008-12-07T00:25:00.000-05:00nice job my dear...that tree looks mighty fine fro...nice job my dear...that tree looks mighty fine from here in Indiana...L.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5881322036952884343.post-57671598404898299202008-12-06T23:51:00.000-05:002008-12-06T23:51:00.000-05:00Funny. I hope it was a magical experience in the new digs. We got as far as the lights tonight on ours. And it only took us saying don't touch to the little one about 5,000 times, but you can see the magic in her eyes that I think you still have in yours... Enjoy!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
